Watch: Bulls' Andre Drummond 'runs out of talent'

Andre Drummond is one of the greatest rebounders in NBA history. Dribbling? Not so much.

Drummond stole a pass against the Memphis Grizzlies and led a two-on-one fast break. He went right at the much smaller Tyus Jones and tried to show off his skills with a Eurostep. However, Drummond does not have those skills.

Perhaps because he was off-balance after his AND1 mixtape move, but Drummond ended up with an and-none, as his layup attempt was comically short of the rim. When Drummond caught his own miss and tried to go up again, he was rightfully whistled for a travel.

It's reminiscent of a legendary quote from former player Corey Brewer, who also botched a shot after fancy moves. Playing for the Houston Rockets, Brewer shook two defenders with a 360-degree spin move but then missed a wide-open shot at the hoop.

"Coach, I did my thing," Brewer told former coach Mike D'Antoni, "but then I got to the rim and just ran out of talent."

There's a reason Drummond has nearly twice as many turnovers as assists this season (46 to 26). It's also a reason the Chicago Bulls might move him at the deadline. Both Drummond and the ninth-place Bulls have simply run out of talent this season.
