Eagles' massive UDFA Gabe Hall projected to make the 53-man roster

The Philadelphia Eagles currently have seven undrafted free agents signed for the offseason: 

• LSU S Andre Sam
• Georgia RB Kendall Milton
• Tennessee TE McCallan Castles
• Marshall WR Talik Keaton
• Maryland OT Gottlieb Ayedze
• Howard OT Anim Dankwah
• Baylor DT Gabe Hall

Of those seven UDFAs, Bleacher Report's Ryan Fowler predicts that Baylor defensive tackle Gabe Hall will make the 53-man roster. 

Fowler points to Hall's enormous frame and versatility for reasons why. 

"While Roseman spent a third-round pick on Houston Christian's Jalyx Hunt, Baylor's Gabe Hall should have an opportunity to earn a roster spot this fall as well," Fowler writes. "A massive man at 6'6" and 291 pounds, Hall possesses the alignment versatility that Roseman covets up front, along with the upfield push to keep offensive linemen honest on passing downs."

If there's one thing the Eagles love, it's a very large athlete. That's because you can teach fundamentals, but you can't teach size or speed. 

Hall has both. 

In his final season at Baylor, Hall recorded 17 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss a pass defenses, and two sacks. His dip in production could have been what kept him from being selected in the draft since he had logged 4.5 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss one year earlier. 

There's a real possibility Hall makes it through final roster cuts as long as he pulls off an impressive offseason. 

Since Fletcher Cox is off enjoying retirement, the Eagles don't really have a solidified defensive tackle room outside of Milton Williams and Jalen Carter. They also have Jordan Davis, but he still has a lot to prove. Brandon Graham is back for one last hoorah, though they can't lean on him because he's old now. 

"It remains to be seen exactly where Hall finds his niche along the defensive line," Fowler writes, "but his blend of length (34½-inch arms) and explosiveness will be hard to keep off the roster."
