Arsenal goalscorer Trossard: Victory at Wolves a massive boost

Arsenal attacker Leandro Trossard was happy scoring in their 2-0 win at Wolves.

Trossard and Martin Odegaard struck for the visitors on Saturday.

He later told arsenal.com: We wanted to show the response today, and I think we've done that.

Another clean sheet, two great goals - it's a perfect win for us.

It's a massive boost. We wanted to win this game. There's another game coming up very soon, so now we need to recover, get ready again, and then show us again on Tuesday."

On his goal, he continued: It wasn't intended, I just tried to get it on target because I had to handle it so quickly. I saw the defender coming so I just tried to get it on target and then the ball went in so nicely. It was a great goal for me and it helped us get up in front and get into the game.

I came into a squad with so much quality, so I would say it's also maybe easier for me to play with such players as they can find you in tight spaces. I think the link-up has been brilliant since I've been here, and I've enjoyed my time here a lot. So I think that all in one word, is great.
